Hop Topic Tuesday – The Clone Wars

One of my favorite things right now in Star Wars fandom is the incredible job that Dave Filoni and the crew do on the animated “Clone Wars” series. We’re headed into season three this fall and I can hardly wait. Especially after all the news that came out of Celebration V last weekend. In the spirit of a Mish Mash Monday, here’s a Hot Topic Tuesday with some of the cool things I see coming for season three of what is now my favorite show on television (RIP 24).

  • Looks like Darth Maul’s name was Opress, at least that is what we have to assume since his brother will appear in the new season and his name is Savage Opress. Here’s a picture – I like to call him the Hawkeye Zabrak:

  • The Force.Net has a TON of coverage on this but some highlights include the G-Level cannon introduction of the Nightsisters of Dathomir, a return to Kamino, more bounty hunters and more of Count Dooku and Ashoka.

Overall, this season looks to follow the mantra of Uncle George (“Faster, more intense!”) and looks to deliever the goods for Star Wars fans everywhere. What are you most looking forward to this season? Leave a comment below!

It was devised recently in order to define a status above the C-Level canon, as confirmed by [Leland] Chee
